This thing was super cool when I was a tiny human around 4 or 5 years old, and I'm surprised I still have it. It's The MEGO Batcave which originally retailed for $13.66 when it came out in 1974. surprisingly it's in pretty good condition including the box after half a century, it's missing the yellow wooden Batpole which I'm sure is around here somewhere, and I didn't have batteries to test the Bat signal. You had to purchase the Action Figures and Batmobile separately, all you got was the Batcave. I did own a Batmobile but it's long gone probably packed away in a long forgotten box or buried deep in the ground in a backyard somewhere in California? I did however find Batman and Robin at the bottom of this box and upon inspection I can say without a doubt that their best super hero days are well behind them and they will never fight crime again.
