Updated: August 10, 2023
This very rare Phoenix Candy counter display box comes with the 8 different candy boxes it originally held. The large green box measures 10.5" by 12" by 5" and features artwork of Batman and Robin fighting the Joker, Penguin, on 3 sides as well as images
of just the heroes on the top and back. The 8 candy boxes is a complete set with alternating numbers 1-16 on each side. Each box features a different villain including the Joker, The Blockbuster Bandit, The Bouncer, The Deathman, Carnado, The Penguin, The
Caveman, and The Riddler. Made by Phoenix candy in 1966, each small box held candy and a toy, but are now empty. Each box measures 3.75" by 2.5" by 1" and features artwork on 4 sides of Batman and Robin fighting the criminals. The large green display box is reinforced by styrofoam and the cover is no longer attached. It has some liquid damage to the right side but retains good colors.
While it has seen better days, it is nearly impossible to find in any condition. The 8 candy boxes are in excellent condition with
no stains or tears and only minor wear. The colors are bright and are in superior condition for their age.
Value: $1,500.
