A light-up 1:6-scale replica of the Batmobile from William Dozier and Lorenzo Semple, Jr.'s Batman. As iconic as the superhero who drove it, Batman ( Adam West ) and Robin ( Burt Ward ) used the Batmobile to chase down the villains of Gotham City and bring them to police headquarters in nearly every episode of the series.
Writer Bill Finger first introduced the Batmobile in the pages of Detective Comics issue 27. Since then, it became inseparable in the cultural imagination from Batman lore and appeared in virtually every extension of the venerable franchise as Bruce Wayne's signature vehicle. This ornately detailed, limited-edition Batmobile was created by Jazzinc Dioramas based on the beloved vehicle created by Hollywood car customizer George Barris for the series. It is constructed from high-quality cast resin around a metal internal support structure with chrome detailing, metal axles, rubber tires, and lights installed on the front, interior, bumper, and flame addition on the back. The replica features a fully detailed cockpit labeled "Emergency Bat-Turn Lever" as well as poseable front wheels. Also included are the original Jazzinc shipping box and instructions manual, two sheets of unapplied decals, an external AC power cord with three international adapters, a cleaning cloth, and a remote for operating the lights. The vehicle exhibits minor grime from exposure. Dimensions: 37.5" x 14" x 8" ( 95.25 cm x 37.5 cm x 20.5 cm ).
