Burgess Meredith "Penguin" tuxedo shirt from Batman. (ABC-TV, 1966-68) Black and champagne satin jockey shirt with champagne satin wing collar, bib front and cuffs. Numerous crème satin circular patches are applied on the front and back, each with oval felt inserts stenciled in grey with the Penguin's signature motif (top hat, cigarette holder and umbrella).

Accompanied with a pair of beige riding breeches, and a black silk faille bow tie, as worn by Meredith as Batman's arch rival, the Penguin, in the Batman episodes "The Sport of Penguins" (October 5, 1967) and/or "A Horse of Another Color" (October 12, 1967). Also includes a production still of the Penguin and actress Ethel Merman as guest villain Lola Lasagne.

A fantastic original costume from this cult-classic TV series.
