Fort Courage formed the setting for this popular TV western series, which ran from 1965-1967. Private Wilton Parmenter ( Ken Berry ) finds himself in charge of the fort after a mishap, and subsequently has to deal with the local Indian population and the attentions of the attractive Jane Angelica Thrift ( Melody Patterson ), who only has eyes for him. Everyone hams it up for comedic effect throughout, leading to a deliciously amusing slice of vintage TV.
