Biography:
Fans of TV's Land of the Giants know Gary Conway as Capt. Steve Burton on the Irwin Allen sci-fi TV series. An actor, artist,
musician and vintner, the handsome, Los Angeles born actor began his career in the 1950's when he was a physique model, appearing
in the Athletic Model Guild publication Physique Pictorial. His other TV roles include playing Detective Tim Tilson on Burke's Law, and his films include I Was a Teenage Frankenstein and How to Make a Monster.
As a writer, Conway scripted American Ninja 2: The Confrontation, American Ninja 3: Blood Hunt, and wrote the story for Over the
Top. As a director, Conway has been behind the camera on a number of TV series, including House Rules and Blue Heelers. In addition to his showbiz work, Conway has an award-winning winery; Carmody McKnight Estate Wines in Paso Robles, California. The winery's
name is a combination of his birth name and his wife's name. Conway is married to Marian McKnight, who was Miss America of 1957.
