Lost in Space meet Land of the Giants!

Featured here is original early storyboard artwork for the pilot "The Crash" for ABC-TV new series Land of the Giants. during the original pitch to the networks Irwin Allen's art department had no artwork for the Spindrift or even the costumes for the Spindrift crew, so to save time and money they used the Jupiter-2 and the spacesuits to promote the new series. Interesting to see how even the charcters envolved and change prior to the series.

This is a double treat for both Land of the Giants and Lost in Space fans to see. It is amazing what is sitting in the Hollywood archives. We hope to continue to obtain info and photos for our website on these lost treasures.
