In 1967, production began for Land of the Giants and Irwin Allen Productions commissioned a limited number of these Zippo lighters to be issued as keepsakes to the show's cast & crew. ( They were never sold to the general public. )

The lighter is boldly engraved with "Irwin Allen's Land of the Giants" with the stunning show logo beautifully represented. ( The first two pictures are the most accurate representations of the lighter's condition. The third photo is included to highlight the engraving's gorgeous graphic design. )

The bottom edge is stamped with the official Zippo logo, and features the 4/3 date code stamp, which corresponds with 1967, the first year of the show's production. The lighter has a couple of light bumps and signs of wear, but is in very good shape overall. An ultra-rare 'cast & crew' promo item from one of Irwin Allen's classic 1960's Sc-Fi shows.
