A 1/60 scale built-up display model of the Spindrift Sub-Orbital Spaceship with base from the 1960's TV 'Land of the Giant's'. This is a Polar Lights re-issue of the classic Aurora kit from 1968. Accurizing modifications include; interior LED lighting with three functions ( continuous, fast blinking, slow fade on and off ) a tear-drop shaped astro dome, Decal markings from TSDS, visible cockpit interior, and drill-out ramjet intakes and exhaust.

This model's top hull piece is sealed. Due to the brightness of the interior LED's some light leakage can be seen in a darkened room around the intakes. Model comes with external battery pack ( batteries not included for 3 AA batteries and wooden base with scale foliage ).
