I made this prop replica from scratch using items from around the house and a few that I bought at a local hardware store. I made it to scale using still photos from the DVDs and AutoCAD for the blade pattern. The match head was first sculpted, then I made a mold of it and casted it in resin. With a little bit of airbrush work it turned out to be a pretty convincing looking prop replica.

About Me: An Industrial Design graduate of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and a big fan of Sci-fi and 60's classic TV, who enjoys building and drawing interesting and unique things. I'm currenty employed as a machinist and that helps with my attention to detail.
