The classic 1951 film, "The Day the Earth Stood Still starring Michael Rennie. Even though this is not related to Irwin Allen or his productions. These items are worth talking about, and adding to any collection.

This is also one of my favorite science fiction films of all time. When Irwin Allen was selling the unaired pilot of Lost in Space to CBS in 1964-65 the opening music was used from this film. After CBS bought Lost in Space and Dr. Smith & the Robot was added, Irwin then selected Johnny Williams for his TV music productions.
