"An impressive 17 inches tall on the Display Base, the famous Gort Robot from the 1950's era classic "The Day The Earth Stood Still". The client ordered the Visor closed, but we do a version with an illuminated "Laser Eye" as well.

More difficult to create than first impressions might give you. Careful study of the actual prop showed there were slight "creases and folds" on the exterior of the costume. These were showing due to the costumes foam rubber folding when Gort had to move or damage effects from the hail of bullets and Tank shells Gort had to endure. This look was faithfully reproduced to maximize accuracy and not make this prop look like another plastic toy version found on the market.
