This is an excellent and very, very rare sculpture of Gort's head from the classic sci-fi movie The Day the Earth Stood Still. It measures 9.5 inches in height and has been professionally made from fibreglass and spray painted silver as per the movie. Commissioned and constructed in England UK for part of my private collection with the possibility of producing several more for a few robot collector friends.

This particular one was the second one made so there are only two like this in the World. Time and money to continue the project any further looks unlikely right now and as such this will remain a very, very rare item! The underside of the model has a solid base and has a felt covering allowing it to stand on a bookshelf or in a display cabinet without it slipping. Looks fabulous next to a classic sci-fi DVD collection or amongst your treasured robots!
