Clayton Moore "The Lone Ranger" Signature Gray Tunic and Trousers from The Lone Ranger ( ABC TV 1949-1957 ). "The Lone Ranger"
instantly recognizable cobalt gray wool Western v-neck tunic with lace up front closure and pale gold trim along the chest,
collar and cuffs, with zip closure on the lower left side, cobalt gray trousers with drawstring ties at the ankles, screen-worn by Clayton Moore in his characterization as "The Masked Man" in The Lone Ranger and/or related commercials or promotions of the era.
Both pieces bear internal Western Costume Co. printed labels for the actor's name and maker's stamp,Western Costume Co. Accompanied
by an 8" x 10" photograph of Moore in character as "The Lone Ranger" signed in black ink marker. The tunic exhibits minor toning
along the sleeves and shoulders and a couple tiny holes. The trousers exhibit scuffs on the knees, light stains, and tiny holes commensurate with age and production use, but remain in Very Good to Fine condition. Acquired from Western Costume Company StarGuy Williams "Zorro" Signature Black Satin Capelet and Pleated Cummerbund Sash from Zorro (ABC TC 1957-1959). "Zorro" signature black satin capelet with cord tie front closure and diamond pattern stitching on the collar and a black satin pleated cummerbund with integral sash and hook-and-eye rear closure worn by Guy Williams in his role as the masked swordsman, Zorro. This shorter style cape was used for close-up shots on horseback or other occasions to avoid the restrictive longer cape. The cummerbund has a Western Costume Co. internal label with Guy Williams' name handwritten in ink. The capelet has a long 6 1/2" horizontal repair to a tear at the left breast the sash exhibits some tiny holes, with cords starting to loosen at the ends, but it remains in Very Good to Fine condition.
