Actor Guy Williams real name was, "Armando Catalano". I will always remember this handsome man as Professor John Robinson, leader of the Space Family Robinsons. My favorite photos of Guy Williams are that of the jetpack. Even though the real flying scenes were that of a NASA employee. The jetpack was a real working device, and could only stay in the air a few minutes. On opening day at Disneyland, Walt Disney even used this jetpack for promoting "Tomorrow Land".

When a great script was written for Guy Williams such as, Follow the Leader, Hunters Moon, Space Destructors, & the Anti-Matter Man to name just a few of my all time favorites. The talented actor would shine in all his glory. Often, scripts were written so Guy could use his fencing talent from his earlier days in Zorro. Guy was a true master at fencing, and you can tell he really enjoyed it when watching these classic episodes from Lost in Space.

It is truely sad, that Guy left us all so early in his life. He will always be remembered in our hearts of his great career in acting.
