This is an original set "dressing" prop of a Jules Verne like Submarine Hatch used on the Irwin Allen's TV show "The Adventures of Captain Nemo" from the late 1970's. It is made of wood & metal, about two feet in diameter. With a little paint this would be an excellent display item!
