Original Concept Artwork from City Beneath the Sea ( Warner Bros. TV, 1971 ) by Tom Cranham. Vintage original, finely detailed
concept artwork featuring an internal view of the enormous, futuristic underwater scientific installation, repurposed as a city
called Pacifica, from this imaginative Irwin Allen film intended as a pilot for a full series. In tempera, gouache, and airbrush elements on 4-ply artist illustration board by artist Tom Cranham, providing an awesome sense of scale to the structure. 38" x 28" image size on 40" x 30" illustration board and signed by Cranham at the lower right. Companion artwork referenced on pages 344-346
of "The Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen" by Jeff Bond, Creature Features 2019. Fine, with moderate wear to the borders and corners,
with light surface scuffs to the art.
