Vintage original concept art from Five Weeks in a Balloon in tempera and gouache with airbrush elements on black 4-ply artist board measuring 15" x 39" indented to 12" x 34 " and glue-tipped to an archival mat measuring 16" x 40" with transparent mylar overlay. The artwork depicts the balloon swept across the wave of a volcano's erupting caldera. A second artwork depicts the balloon buffeted by storm winds in the upper stratosphere in tempera, gouache, and airbrush elements on black 4-ply artist board measuring 14 " x 39 " indented to 12" x 34" and glue-tipped to an archival mat measuring 16" x 40" with transparent mylar overlay.
