Original Concept Poster Art from Five Weeks in a Balloon ( Irwin Allen Productions, 1962 ). Vintage original concept poster art from Five Weeks in a Balloon in tempera and gouache on 2-ply artist board measuring 27" x 34" indented to 21" x 29" and glue-tipped to an archival mat measuring 28" x 36" with transparent mylar overlay. Hand-painted lettering is affixed in strips as streaming banners, producing an elegant effect. A 2" hand-painted border was applied, simulating a gold gesso frame. Actual artwork reproduced on page 119 of "The Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen" by Jeff Bond, Creature Features 2019.
