Oversize Unit Storyboard of Roof Area Stairwell from The Towering Inferno ( Irwin Allen Productions, 1974 ). Vintage original oversize production blueline unit storyboard featuring a sequence of two characters descending the roof area stairwell blaze from this classic Irwin Allen cliffhanger. The unit storyboard depicts multiple camera angles, color-coded to match the detail inserts and movements required to navigate the special effects. A significant part of the storyboard is hand-drawn in colored ink marker with handwritten captions in black ink, and a trimmed portion of the script detailing the scene is affixed at the lower edge. Measures 26.25" x 20.5" and affixed to 4-ply artist illustration board measuring 40" x 30".
