The Beaver enjoyed his own comic book line. Dell Four Color #1285 dated February April 1962 features Hugh Beaumont's Ward Cleaver giving son Jerry Mathers' Beaver boxing lessons. The Beav needed the pugilistic instruction in case Violet Rutherford got "fresh" with him! One example in graded CGC very fine 8.0 condition sold at auction for $95.60.
