40TH ANNIVERSARY LOGO (LARRY LEE MONIZ) |
Updated: April 03, 2022
Well here it is, the 40th Anniversary of the premiere episode of Lost in Space. To commemerate this event, I decided to
design a new logo incorporating many of the popular elements of the show: The Logo (I used the often ignored third
season verison) The Robot, a first / second season "Floating Robinson", and the Jupiter-2 graphic from season 3's opening
credits.
Also, I wanted to slightly change the often used circular shape to an oval. The pattern around the oval was inspired by the
Jupiter-2 fusion core lights! I felt the golden color complimented the simulated silver well. Just my litte way of
commemorating such a milestone of my favorite show in the world. We here at "Uncle Odie's" wish the cast, crew, Kevin Burns,
and Shelia Allen a very Happy 40th Anniversary.
Long Live Lost in Space.
