This is a set of animator's model sheets from Hanna-Barbera's classic special, "Lost in Space," which was loosely based on the 1960's Irwin Allen sci-fi series of the same name. The special aired on "The ABC Saturday Superstar Movie" in 1973. Jonathan Harris reprised his role as the nefarious Dr. Zachary Smith. (Model Sheets are the reference guides that animators used to keep the look of the characters consistent. They contain various views and / or expressions to help the animators draw the characters.)

A separate sheet of character art for every single character that appeared on the special! There are 7 separate model sheets designed by famed comic book artist (and Hanna-Barbera character designer) Alex Toth which feature instructions on drawing the characters, pose suggestions and more, for the following characters: Dr. Zachary Smith, Robot (Robon), Craig Robinson, Deana Carmichael, Linc Robinson, and the Chariot.

The model sheets measure 8-1/2" x 11" and are printed on durable card stock! The photo is printed from the original studio transparency through traditional photographic process. It is not a computer print-out. Items such as these are extremely rare and were never available in stores.

If you're a fan of the Hanna-Barbera Studios, this item is for you!

Value: $200.
