JAPANESE MARUSAN REMOTE CONTROLLED CHARIOT |
Updated: June 30, 2022
Issued by Marusan in 1966 and was never sold outside of Japan. The toy is made of tin and plastic with 8 figures. The Chariot is remote controlled by an electric motor, and powered by batteries. The Chariot when activated can be controlled in any direction.
The Marusan Company also issued two different box art, promoting this awesome item. The box art is some of the very best ever
done by the Japanese.
"I would like to thank Michelle of BlueChip Toys of Balimore MD for selling this item to me, after another bidder defaulted on
the payment!"
On September 5, 2003 collector "Thomas Vaccina" of New York sent me updated photos of this rare Japanese Chariot. His photos
include a complete unbuilt kit. These are the very first photos ever seen of the Japanese Chariot model / toy shown here on the internet! This toy / model is so scare it belongs in a toy museum. These are nearly impossible to find even in Japan.
Value: (Mint in Box $6,000-Up) (Built-Up Without Box $4,000-Up)
