Kidnapped in Space seemed to have had the first use of the space pod. Most fans thought that it, like a lot of other devices, just appeared magically when they needed it for a story. However it did have an explanation in a script but the dialog was cut out. Hunter's Moon was filmed before Kidnapped in Space and would have been the first appearance of the space pod and in that script it says, "John: Two degrees right warp. Keep heading in. And stand by with the space pod. Don: The Space pod? We haven't tested that since we left Earth: Obviously they had to cut that line out when Hunter's Moon was aired since the space pod had already been used in Kidnapped in Space. Again Gary Stair created the fantastic figures for me, and this was the fourth Moebius space pod I built for a diorama. I also modified a Remco ray gun, like they did for the show, as the weapon of the Xenians.

Next Week: The crippled Jupiter-2 was about to make a landing on an unknown planet far beyond our galaxies: a landing that would allow them time to make desperately needed repairs on their spaceship.
