Here is a unique item! This is an all resin artist proof production proof of Dr. Smith from the 1999 Polar Light kit. The casting was taken from the original sculputure for use to make the steel molds for the styrene parts. The Dr. Smith figure was sculpted by Polar Lights sculpter by "Pat Delaney". The original was sculpted from super sculpey, and was quite fragile, so a mold was made from the sculpey original and a resin castings were sent to Polar Lights to make the injection molds from. Mr. Delany was a personal friend of Donald Bowman (Ellensburg WA) in which I purchase this item from. I quickly purchase this item on the "Buy it Now" on 06/13/02.

Having the prototype Trendmasters figures, this truly makes this a special piece within my collection.
