Lost in Space Commemorative First day Cover celebrating the launch of the Jupiter 2 on October 16th, 1997.
This is a fan-produced Cinderella Stamp (A collectible stamp made to resemble actual postage stamps issued by governments).
Cinderella Stamps are very popular with collectors. About the envelope: Standard First Day Cover size of 3-5/8" x 6-1/2", 20 lb.
white stock with a picture of the crew of the Jupiter-2 printed in black and white.
About the stamp: Approximately 1" x 1-7/8" with a denomination of 32 cents. The view is of the Jupiter-2 landing on a planet.
About the postmark: The postmark is from the Kennedy Spaceport and is dated October 16th, 1997. The cancellation mark includes
the Jupiter-2 on its launch gantry.
