After recently purchasing the original Jupiter-2 prop used for filming the 1998 movie. Finding this prop was icing on the birthday cake! This is the original mold casting used on actor Gary Oldman, who played the updated version of Dr. Smith. The cast was taken off the face of Mr. Oldman and used for the alien spider scenes at the end of the film.

The casting is made of solid plaster, and costed me $100.00 plus $$$ just on the shipping charges. The head piece also includes a life-like spike rubber hair to add to the realism of the prop. This piece was made by artist David White. I purchase this item from Paul Harrison of England on November 12, 2001. The prop was purchased from "Henson's Creature Workshop" after the film was completed.
