This is a replica of the pistol used in the Lost in Space movie. It is made from resin and has 3 leds on top ( One red, yellow, and green ) and 4 ( 2 red and 2 green ) on the one side. They do not light up. The end of the barrel, the square part is made from metal and has slits cut into it same as the movie piece which makes the pistol as most are metal and have the open slits.
