ORIGINAL ANDROID CONTROL PANEL

Shown here is a two slender, electrically wired panels with various rocker & dial switches, identified at the top as "Long Range Radar Inputs". Measuring 30 inches x 4 1/2 inches., these panels were used variously throughout the Lost in Space sets, & were originally acquired from the U.S. Air Force. Probably best remembered as part of the Intergalactic Department store machine seen in "The Android Machine". (Originally aired on CBS on October 26, 1966) In this episode, Dr. Smith orders an android simply by pushing a few buttons.

These control panels were also believed to be used on the Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea set (mainly the Flying Sub) as well as Captain Alonzo P. Tuckers (Albert Salmi) space ship from (The Sky Pirate) originally aired on CBS January 26, 1966 and the Lost in Space Pod interior.
