June Lockhart "Maureen Robinson" Robe with costume sketch from Season 2 and 3 of Lost in Space ( CBS TV, 1965-1968 ). Vintage
original bespoke Empire coat of jade green wool floor-length with unique standing collar, bell sleeves with pink cuffs, with a
fabric bead under the bodice and button front closure with hook and eye fastens. Lined entirely in hot pink satin upon which June Lockhart has signed on the interior right panel, "June Lockhart 'Maureen'." Worn by "Maureen" ( Lockhart ) throughout Seasons 2
and 3. Includes the original preceding costume sketch by Costume Designer Paul Zastupnevich accomplished in pencil and gouache on
12" x 20" illustration board and a handwritten note from June Lockhart to "John," "Please, the collar must be worn up Thanks,
June."
Costume exhibits light age and wear. Worn by Lockhart in Seasons 2 and 3 in sequences when the crew is awakened in the middle of
the night from alien encounters. All items in vintage Very good to fine condition. Exhibited at New Line Cinema's Licensing '97 Exhibition, Javits Center, New York City. Provenance: Butterfield & Butterfield, September 8, 1996 Entertainment sale, Lot 1444,
and June Lockhart consigned this property to the sale. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
