As of this posting, I am still doing some research on this item. This may or may not be an original prop? I was told by a friend prop dealer, that many fakes were made in early 1991-92. Many of the replicas are made better than the originals. This laser pistol was used in season #2-#3 in LIS. They made several different versions. Some made from medal, wood, and rubber for stunt use. I was told that they made about a dozen of each gun.

"If this is an original, I would guess the value would be around $3,500." About a year and a half ago a rubber stunt laser pistol sold on eBay for $1,500. and was not in good condition, with the rubber harding up, and cracking.
