In 1998 I helped build the flight deck of the Jupiter-2 for the TV show "Lost in Space Forever". One of the props I created was this "scope prop" which was placed on top of one of the set pieces. There are no electronics associated with this item. The piece is made from wood plexi and plastic. It was only meant to be shot from a distance hence the rough appearance. After the show was shot, the sets went into storage. I retained some of the smaller prop pieces that I had made from scratch. This is one of them.
