About a year ago a friend told me about a rare AHI Robot made in Hong Kong. This cheap toy was made in 1977 and sold at the local K-Mart stores. The toy Robot body color was normally made of grey/black with a green dome head. But hearing about a white body, and a blue dome head, "No-way!" To me it was just another story and rumor going around. For the first time in five years, another eBay seller proves the rumor as fact. On December 15, 2001 when searching the internet for collectibles, there it was. The AHI robot in white with all it's glory. The seller claims that this Robot was made in the early 1980's and not the 1977 of it's first limited release. I purchased this rare item on the "Buy it Now" policy from seller, Gianluca Bellisario of Italy. It is possible that AHI in Hong Kong sold this toy several years later as a NEW forgein released item? Who really knows on this stuff folks? All I know this was another first, and it truely was a great find, making this years Christmas a brighter one for me.
