Issued by Hobbyworld / Masudaya in 1986. A 16" high 1/5th scale replica that is far superior than the Remco Robot of 1966. The Robot
is very accurate, with blinking lights, and speaks in both Japanese and english! ( Bob May told me that the english voice is his on
this toy! )
Since painting and some minor assembly is required, some people may prefer to call this a model? But it is basically a very sophisticated toy. Strangely, although the Robot is obviously from "Lost in Space" and shows the Jupiter-2 on the box, no reference
is made to "Lost in Space"! A real work of art, and a bargain at any price. Normally, this item sold for around $100. back in 1986,
and was pulled from the market for unlicensed rules.
This is one of the best items ever made on the B9 Robot. Where the name YM-3 came from, who knows!?
Value: $250.
