THE MUNSTERS ORIGINAL EDDIE MUNSTER JACKET |
Updated: October 24, 2010
(CBS-TV, 1964-66) This is the original velvet coat worn
by Butch Patrick in his role as "Edward Wolfgang
'Eddie' Munster' during the first season of the classic
sitcom, The Munsters.
Butch Patrick appeared more boyish during the first season
of the show, then they changed his character's appearance
giving him a pronounced widow's peak. Made from grayish-green
velvet with a hook-and-eye closure at the neck and full
satin lining, it has an internal Western Costume
Co. label typewritten "2905-1, Little Boy, [chest] 28, [sleeve]
11 1/2."
The garment remains in excellent condition. Accompanied by a
notarized letter of authenticity signed by Butch Patrick and
his mother, Patti Hunt.
Value: $5,000.
