I met Ray in person at a collectible show and had him sign a replica of his spaceship from the hit series, My Favorite Martian. He was also gracious to sign in addition to his signature, Uncle Martin, a name that Bill Bixby's character gave him in the show.

The ship comes in a slipcase and can easily be removed. The ship is made of resin. Ray shared several stories that day, including one about his co-star Sean Penn from the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High. As Mr. Hand, Ray played the teacher, and mentioned that Sean stayed in character during the whole movie, even to the point of having his character's name "Spicolli) on his dressing room door.
