This is a project from about two years ago. I've just taken some fresh photos because the previous photos were lousy pictures made more awkward by the size of the model. This is Uncle Martin's spaceship from My Favorite Martian. It's 25" long and, in many ways, it was the prototype for my Spindrift project. It was my first attempt at using fiberglass covered foam and I used those lessons to build the Spindrift.
