PLANET OF THE APES ORIGINAL LISA COSTUME |
Updated: July 18, 2006
Natalie Trundy "Lisa" chimp costume and display from Conquest of
Planet of the Apes. (TCF, 1972) An original green chimp jumpsuit
with zippered pockets, and internal Western Costume label handwritten
"Lisa", together with an original armband, which have been mounted on
a custom mannequin and replica head standing approx. 5 ft. tall.
The costume was made for Natalie Trundy in her role as "Lisa" in this
third installment of the Planet of the Apes series. Original Conquest
jumpsuits with Western Costume labels are quite rare, as most (if not
all) of the similar jumpsuits made for the film were commercially-produced.
Note that the armband emblem was the original logo worn on the lab jackets
on Irwin Allen's Time Tunnel TV series.
