General Ursus gunbelt from Beneath the Planet of the Apes. ( TCF, 1970 ) Constructed of dark brown leather with brown fabric belt, this costume piece was used by James Gregory as Gen. Ursus in Beneath the Planet of the Apes, and later used by Mark Lenard as Gen. Urko throughout the entire POA television series.

The leather holster is a replacement due to deterioration, and the gun is a non-firing German-style Luger from Twentieth Century-Fox - a "filler" for the holster. The original gun for the film was a specially-designed wood carved effects pistol, and in the TV series, a regular German Luger was used. This belt is one of only two that were created.
