After Polar Lights issued the famous "Robby the Robot" kit in 2000. They decided to release an all CHROME version of the same kit.(As with the Jupiter-2 kit from Lost in Space) Fans and collectors also spoke out to Polar Lights to include a diorama base for this cool Robot, that the first kit didn't have.

A nice kit to own and a must have for those Robby fans out there!
