JAPANESE JET LAUNCHER SPACE RIFLE |
Updated: July 14, 2022
In the 1960's, any kid worth his salt was a devoted Lost in Space fan. 'Space Productions' the name of the licensor, didn't
hesitate in licensing all kinds of Lost in Space toys. The grand daddy of them all was released by Mattel - the Roto-Jet gun.
Hitting prices as high as $10,000 for boxed items, this toy remains one of the most expensive collectible toys to be produced
during the 1960's. The Japanese are experts at reproduction and in the 1970's, they released a couple of very similar roto-jet
guns for the Japanese market.
This is one of them. Box measures 19-3/4' long and gun measures 17' long. Probably as difficult to locate as the authorized Mattel version.
Value: $500.
