Very hard to find rare Marusan Tin Robot Torpedo in original box.

This is the incredibly scarce Marusan Robot Driven toy circa the 1950's. It is marked "San" on the side which is short for the Japan based company "Marusan". It is a smaller toy company that created this awesome crank operated torpedo. This space toy is unique as it is equipped with a crank motor that still works powerfully turning the rear prop. It is equipped with the Robot pilot and top compass. I believe it was designed to actually work in water, but haven't tried it as I don't want to risk ruining it.

The toy comes in excellent overall shape, especially considering it's age. The original box has some very mild wear consistent with age, but is also in great overall condition.
