With the upcoming Super Space Theater being released at the end of January 2022, Destination Moonbase Alpha was the first of the four compilation films taking the episodes of the only 2 part episode "Bringers of Wonder" ( along with additional footage ). There was a long history and a worldwide distribution from its initial release to a number of VHS ( and DVD ) releases even with some altered artwork. Funny thing is that there never was any laserdisc release from any country of D:MBA. The original theatrical artwork is by Tom Chantrell. Arguably some of the best back in the day.
