On November 7, 2005 Kirk Roderick, Larry Lee Moniz, and I spent a few hours hitting
the town of Hollywood California. This was the first visit to the town of glamor
and glits for Larry, and we did our best to show him the town in just a few hours.
We visited the famous Chinese Theatre, which is always a tourist attraction, and saw
the many fans and signatures of the stars in the celement from past to present. We
even saw a blimp in the sky flying over the landmark of the Roosevelt Hotel. As
with all eager fans, we walked several miles gasping at all the famous "Walk of
Fame" stars. We showed Larry the Guy Williams star, which brought many memories
and tears to both Kirk and I, when we both attended this special event in 2001.
Boy., does time go by quickly! We went into a cool costume shop, and hit a few
Hollywood photo stores, before taking a break with a big slice of pizza in our
faces.
Then we took a drive to several Hollywood Studios including Warner Brothers, and the
NBC Studio. This brought back many memories for me personally, for I went to this
studio many times to watch several tapings of Johnny Carson. It was great watching
Johnny, and there will never be another talk show host like him ever.
