USS Enterprise Turbolift Handle from Star Trek: The Original Series ( Paramount TV, 1966-69 ). Vintage original USS Enterprise Turbolift handle painted gray and constructed of solid resin swivel handle connected to a fiberglass base with attached acrylic light. Mounting screws on verso. This handle was installed and used on the Turbolift to transport crew rapidly throughout the vessel. The handle measures 11.5" x 4" x 2". Exhibiting age, light scratching and paint chipping. Exhibited at the legendary Star Trek: The Exhibit at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, Washington, D.C., February 1992 through January 1993.
