STAR TREK ORIGINAL VULCAN CEREMONIAL GUARD BREASTPLATE

Updated: March 19, 2026

A production made Vulcan ceremonial guard breastplate and production photos from Leonard Nimoy's Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. The guards on Mt. Seleya wore their decorative breastplates during the fal tor pan ceremony that resurrected Spock ( Leonard Nimoy ). While the guards wore similar plates, this style did not ultimately make it into the final cut of the film as production decided there were no blue stones on Vulcan.

Designed by Maggie Schpak and created by Studio Art Metal Shop, this breastplate is made of fiberglass and resin. Also included are two plastic sleeves containing production photographs of a Vulcan ceremonial guard, Sarek ( Mark Lenard ), and Vulcan jewelry. It exhibits chipping on the edges and scuffed paint on the front. Dimensions: 14.5" x 11" x 5" ( 37 cm x 28 cm x 12.75 cm ).

Value: $3,000.
