An Empire Tie Fighter Pilot helmet and a chest air control box from the marketing promotions of George Lucas' Star Wars original trilogy in the late 1970s to early 1980s.
The helmet is made of a black vac-formed plastic and is painted with gray accents on the faceplate. The helmet features two green transparent visors. There are two holes present on the helmet as they are utilized for plastic tubing that connects to the chest control box. The chest control box is a component that is a part of the Tie fighter pilot's atmospheric suit that allows them to control their air. The Empire logo is featured on the helmet.
The helmet condition has been purposefully aged over the years while the chest control box have two loose button panels, but also missing covers of the other buttons. Together with a loose piece of rubber. This type of helmet is modeled after the Tie fighter
pilots in the Empire and their battles against the Rebel Alliance throughout the original trilogy. Prop measures 12.5 x 11.5 x 14.5 inches ( largest ).
