An Imperial Scout Trooper "Biker Scout" hero blaster pistol from Richard Marquand's Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Biker Scouts, or Scout Troopers, carried their small blasters in ankle holsters and used them throughout the ground battle on Endor.

The Scout Troopers, a beloved alternative to the standard Stormtroopers, were designed by the production after it was decided that the regular Stormtrooper armor would be too stiff and inflexible for a predominantly forest-based setting. Nilo Rodis-Jamero pitched the mostly cloth outfit to George Lucas, while Pete Ronzani's team created the armored helmet, torso, arm, and knee guards which lended to the unique "biker" appearance of the Scout Troopers. The small blaster pistols added to their sleeker appearance by replacing the large blaster rifles carried by most Stormtroopers.

This cast resin blaster is painted gunmetal black with a simulated scope on the side. The recessed lens installed in the back of the scope indicates that this is a "hero" model blaster. Following production, high-quality replicas of the front emitter piece and trigger guard are replicas added during sympathetic restoration. The blaster exhibits paint chipping throughout.
