Radar dish prop from The Invaders episode "Nightmare". (ABC-TV, 1967-68) Small conical radar dome with support rod, designed to spin on top of a control housing. Used throughout the series, and most notably in the episode "Nightmare" as the rotating dish that sent the signal to all insects in the immediate area, turning them into meat-eating monsters.

Measures 27 in. long, with some internal pieces detached. From the collection of Invaders special effects master Thol Simonson.
